The clients for this project were outgrowing their 50s ranch home in Englewood, CO. In a neighborhood of single story homes, the challenge was to add a second story and keep the scale proportionate to the area. To achieve this, we dropped the new second story roof line and added large gable dormers to gain the desired floor space. The new design included an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings, and modern finishes and furniture throughout
